 Post subject: purple dragon in cave

I'm stuck BIG TIME,,I'm at the purple dragon in the cave but i have no life or magic bottles so i keep getting killed,,I've tried going back to the Capitol for supplies but i can't get back to the Capitol..Am i missing the road to get back there?Please help because i don't want to have to start the whole game over.

There's no getting back without defeating the boss I'm afraid.
What is your difficulty in the battle? Maybe I can help...

I don't have any magic bottles or life bottles left to defeat the dragon..Really i don't see any way of beating him.
