Rescuing Boy from Bandits

Sorry, but here I am at the beginning and already stuck.....

How do I use the rope to get this kid back from the bandits??? Thanks for the help.....

Did you get the wooden planks near the lake? If you did then simply click on the wall where you're supposed to make the ladder.

No, I did not see any planks, only what looks like wood piles......Is the wall where the lookout was at first???? Thanks Del, great game so far.....

From where the bandits are, to the left... there is a lake south from the wood piles, the planks are there.

Thanks Del, found them and built ladder.....Fought bandits and back in town now....Great work as per usual.....
